Marie Labranche

President and CEO of
Life Skills Counseling

Marie Labranche was born in the Caribbean. She migrated at three years old to Brooklyn, New York with her mother and two older sisters. Her mother, a former educator instilled in her the value of education and hard work. Marie Labranche attended Catholic Schools for most of her life, until High School when she applied for and was accepted to the High School of Fashion Industries and spent her time there studying Fur Manufacturing and Interior Design.

Upon graduation, Marie Labranche attended New York Institute of Technology. Originally intending to pursue the field of Computers, Marie Labranche attended an Introduction to Psychology class, and her love affair with the field of Psychology was born. Marie Labranche changed her major to Psychology and immersed herself into the field. In 2004, she relocated to West Palm Beach, Florida and pursued her Masters in Counseling Psychology from Palm Beach Atlantic University.​

After graduation, Marie Labranche began her career as a Case Manager and later therapist for children in the Child Welfare system who had been abused, abandoned or neglected. Marie Labranche would later serve as Director of Foster Care for 4KIDS of South Florida.​

Marie Labranche is currently pursuing her Doctorate from Northcentral University. She is divorced with 2 sons, Mason, age 23, a Youth Pastor and College student, and Myles, a current freshman at Palm Beach State pursuing a career in Graphic Arts. Marie Labranche also has a daughter who was adopted at 17, and is now 22 pursuing a career as an Elementary School Teacher.​

In her spare time Marie Labranche adjuncts as a Professor in Psychology. She enjoys writing and reading. Marie Labranche also has a private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in West Palm Beach. She has a passion in helping children and teens live independently, and helping others towards hope and healing.
